May has been a very busy period for us. The updates focused more on cosmetic, usability and discoverability enhancements.
April’s set of new features centered around providing new endpoints for both MYOB and Xero.
For MYOB, we added the following new endpoints:
- BalanceSheetSummaryReport
- Dates and DatesByMonths
For Xero, we included the following new endpoints:
- JournalsAccrual and JournalsCash
- Dates and DatesByMonths
It is now possible to get live Xero data into Power BI and Excel using OdataLink.

This will allow you to start creating dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI and Excel using most data endpoints available in Xero.
I am pleased to announce that OdataLink will soon be available for Xero.
(Update: Xero is now available.)
OdataLink is now officially approved by MYOB after they reviewed and confirmed OdataLink for listing on the MYOB App Marketplace for both MYOB AccountRight Live and MYOB Essentials.
OdataLink now has a Free Edition which allows you to create custom reports and dashboards using MYOB AccountRight Live and MYOB Essentials in Power BI and Excel.
OdataLink models include a new developer mode that can be turned on while developing your Power BI or Excel reports and dashboards.
This new feature greatly increases the speed at which you can build reports and dashboard.
A Free Edition of OdataLink is in the works.
This will be useful for smaller, more modest projects or integrations.
OdataLink now includes a new logging mechanism. Every data request received by OdataLink is added to the odata feed log.
As a result, this will greatly assist in identifying any issues with OdataLink.
