I can’t quite believe 6 months have passed since our last “What’s New” post. It’s actually been so long, I don’t remember all the changes made, but there have been many.
These changes can be grouped into 3 broad categories. These categories will also set the tone for much of the coming calendar year.
We have been EXTREMELY busy lately with all kinds of enhancements. It’s been months since we’ve had time to post what is new in OdataLink. While there is too many enhancements to include in a single post, we’ll cover the main ones.
Many of the changes are not visible and only impact how OdataLink works under the hood. They would only get very technical people excited. That being said, if you are one of those individual, read on.
This last month has mostly been focused on performance improvements and training. The following lists all the enhancements new in OdataLink for March 2022.

The first update of 2022 brings a lot of additional endpoints for both Xero and MYOB.
The year is almost over but we managed to squeeze in one final update before the new year. This latest update packs a lot of enhancements.
The main theme for this update was to streamline and simplify the security features of OdataLink while keeping them front and center.
We also added a few additional endpoints for Xero.
For October 2021, we prioritised some major enhancements.
As the demand for OdataLink continued to grow in leaps and bounds, we decided it was time to have a look back at different systems in place to ensure they would scale.
The September 2021 update of OdataLink was released on 30/09/2021. It includes three vital enhancements.
We are pleased to announce that OdataLink is now officially Certified by Xero. It is now available on the Xero App Store for Australia, New Zealand and the world.

Getting listed on the Xero App Store is the official mechanism by which Xero audits third party addins. This involves Xero staff formally checking function calls made to the Xero API to ensure they follow and adhere to their standard.
This is a big tick confirming OdataLink’s architecture and credentials.
