As the year draws to a close, we realise we have not been communicating as much as we should have. We started the year strong but somewhere in April, we completely dropped the ball.
We haven’t stopped adding enhancements to the platform, however.

Reports Templates and Dashboard for Xero
For those that haven’t found them yet, we added a series of report templates to our site. These aim to provide a quick way to create Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet or Cash Flow Reports for Xero. They are available either for Power BI or Excel. You can check them out on our Reports Templates page.
For those using MYOB, we aim to create equivalent reports in 2024.
Email Notification Improvements
Sometime in August 2023, we added a series of notification emails generated by OdataLink to assist with handling errors. OdataLink sends out these notifications via email to assist with configuration as well as knowing when there are errors with the Odata Feed.
We’ll be adding additional functionality in this space in 2024, such as:
- The ability to opt-in or out of these email notifications.
- Additional ones relating to security.
New MYOB endpoint
We also added a new MYOB endpoint named JournalTransactionsHistory which provides an audit trail of when transactions were added, edited or deleted.
Xero Payroll (UK) endpoints
Finally, we’ve managed to sneak in a last minute update for OdataLink in December 2023.
For those that reside in the UK, we are VERY pleased to announce the addition of 26 endpoints for Xero Payroll (UK). These will allow UK customers to download the list of employees, pay runs and pay slips from Xero.
