Claude is helping us do a lot more
We’re now using Claude, Anthropic’s AI, to support our consultants. It has expanded our knowledge and understanding and increased our capacity, so we can deliver a wider range of solutions in shorter time frames, especially at the build stage.

Early days for write back
OdataLink has always been about getting your data out of Xero, MYOB and, more recently, QuickBooks, and into the tools you use. We’ve now started exploring the other direction: writing data back into your accounting system.
It’s early days. So far we’ve built a small number of custom write back solutions, with a strong focus on starting with audit reports that verify the data and check for duplicates before anything is written back.
Over time, we expect this work to lead to templates for common tasks like journals and invoices, and we’ll share more as it takes shape. In the meantime, if there’s a manual process you’d love to see automated, such as a stocktake in Excel or an import that doesn’t quite bring in what you need, we’d be interested to hear about it. It helps us decide where to focus.
